Warren Fisk, a native of eastern South Dakota, grew up in a surveying environment.  His father, Loy Fisk worked with the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Pick-Sloan projects, including the Fort Randall and Oahe dams on the Missouri River.  Warren himself worked on both projects as a surveying technician.  In 1961, he moved his family west to Rapid City to attend South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and pursue a degree in civil engineering.  He worked as both a land surveyor and engineer for various Rapid City firms.

In 1974, with reconstruction efforts in full swing following the 1972 flood, Warren started Fisk Engineering, Inc.  He provided surveying and engineering services, specializing in boundary surveys, subdivision work and cadastral surveys for the US Forest Service.  In 2001 he made the decision to enter partial retirement and his daughter Janelle and son Ron formed Fisk Land Surveying & Consulting Engineers, Inc.  Together they continue to provide surveying and design services, specializing in boundary retracements, mapping, subdivision work and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys.

Together, Warren, Ron and Janelle have nearly 100 years of combined experience helping clients in the Rapid City area and western South Dakota.  We are dedicated to serving the needs our clients and would like the opportunity to assist you with your surveying or design projects.
